its been a month... since i last updated...

today she collected her results n like expected passed all!! Congrats dardar!!

i met up with a former roommate, Greg n he has already graduated, now working. havent met him for so long, i almost couldnt recognise him cos he put on some weight. he's the 16th person to say i look better without facial hair so im considering shaving aldy.
will see about that..

sry for being away so long. had a lot of assignments, presentations and studies to catch up on.

the engineering faculty had its orientation for the new students and we seniors had to go just to show face.. some of them to check out girls which i would say not many to check out also. engineering course wat u expect?
i got some letters from some of the juniors. hehe.. made me feel lik a celebrity..

one of them started with

"my dearest idiol..."

you probably guess the first thing tat came into my mind.. "my dearest idiot.." she went on saying alot of things tat i had a good laugh over. literally translated straight from chinese (shes a s'porean and i tot s'poreans are good in english).. she even wrote some chinese words tat is also wrong.. (some same pinyin different word and some different pinyin different word, leaving out a stroke makes all the difference)..

well.. hope she doesnt read this post.. or even if she does, better.. at least she wont send me any more letters.. hahahaha..

anyway.. mu reached the finals in the champ league and i know who would be xtremely pleased..

i just got out of hospital two days ago. thanks for all who pray for me. gerard is still in hospital but recovering. im much better now..

as i was sitting in hospital feeling bored.. i realise one thing. i look wierd wearing a gown. no, i wasnt experimenting with a dress more lik the hosp gown (btw, isit call gown?). worse still.. the nurse made me STRIP!! she's so lucky taking advantage of me for the namesake of washing wounds. so basically i had e gown on with nothing inside. but when ma came i pulled a pants on.. shy ma!! anyway.. back to gown..

makes me think how sometimes guys are unfairly treated..

senario 1 :
if a girl and a girl hold hands.. its OKAY!!!
if a guy n guy hold hand... IYERRR!!! got sth wrong somewhere...

call her yesterday..
she told me a scare tat happen to her yesterday as she was driving bac. tis is how it happened.
she was driving n tis guy suddenly cut into her lane n she was driving in the middle lane n quite close to e car in front of her. so she honked him s tis kind of thing is quite dangerous. the fellow was driving lik some maniac. then he got angry n went behind her and shine his high light at all e way.. she went to e slowest lane n he followed her to tat lane. then she exit e highway n went into her garden. he followed. she went round e whole garden (i complimented her for being so smart as not to drive straight home). he followed. she drove at e side at 20km/h. he followed patiently. omg.. y r ppl so mad these days? just for their ego their do all these.. AND he was in the WRONG!!

she was so scared she cried on e phone bt i must really say she is a really brave girl. i wanted just to put my arms around her n tell her everythings ok bt just saying it over e phone doesnt seem enough.. long-distance r/ship sucks!!

anyway, yesterday msia had their general elections and seems lik opposition win big this yr. tis has never happen in msia since their independence in 1957. all this while BN has been winning n winning n winning. tis year big loss.. see here

hopefully, all will just work out and tat all parties will be united and msia will see brighter future after tis. just pray 513, 1969 doesnt happen again.. tat will be sad.. :(

so i did some shopping (yes, i do shop once in a while). i bought a shirt which i wud say is not worth it bcos of the exchange rate bt its nice n ber-quality.. way better than msia's..

i arrive safely in adelaide tis morn. were there hot stewardess? yup.. (only saying this to make teik han jealous). when i land, meng hao and i went jln-jln (wat r 2 guys doing jln-jln together-gether?). but i still miss kl and the people there. seems lik parts of my heart was left behind after the plane took off...

at least no jet-laggedness is apparent.. =)

Playing Pool With The Guys

Teik Han, Yang Shen, Gilbert and Richard came over to my house today. they just left btw..
so, me, acting so tour-guide-ish took them on a more than expected 30 minute tour of my humble and small home. of course, the tour included pit-stops at certain rooms in my house eg. the tv room, the room (no name given) with the pool table and xbox a.k.a my 2nd wife, my room (which was the messiest and stilll they spent d longest time there) and poolside. those of you who have been to my house, u'll understand what i'm talking about. teik han has been to my house before (actually many times before) but he still joined the tour and even snatched some parts of my tour-guiding speech.
then of course with teik han and yang shen around, lameness are always abound. (gosh, it rhymes). we took turns to play d xbox while others waiting played pool (not swimming but the one with small, round, cute balls - which sounds so wrong, i know).

TH: eh, Z, how u shoot d ball that is blocked like this? *referring to some ball position*
me: u can either shoot rebound or make it jump. *then showing off my skills which didnt work btw*
YS: alah, cannot go in also.. your technique wrong lah. just hit any ball lah as long as go in can already...
me: *explains all the long rules about the game until my throat fried already*
YS: i still dont get it. can explain again ah?
me: *stares almost strangling him which i didnt cos he's bigger size than me*
YS: alah, y u look at me like that? i really want to know.
TH: yala.. y u look at him like that? he not THAT hot also? look at me better ma...
me: yahor.. y am i looking at him? i should be looking at my xbox (considering it's my 2nd wife- TH's my 3rd).

believe me, you wouldnt wanna know what happened after that. cos i feel quite ashame to even post it up here. Happy Birthday dearie!!

i'm so so sorry i can't spend your birthday with you on the day itself. but i was definitely thinking of you yesterday and wished i could schedule this trip at another time. BUTS... looks like had a good time anyway..... i promised i'll make it up to you and i did.. hope u enjoyed wat i did 4 u on friday. just for d info of others, we went to an italian restaurant which a friend recommended and i dont really know the name as its like really hard to pronounce. but its in pj. then we went midvalley jln-jln n watched movies.. hope dar, u liked the gift!! love ya!!

i hope many (or at least a few of u guys) missed me at youth yesterday.. in case u were wondering whether i got swallowed up by some earth in japan.. i was actually in kedah helping out with some project which i will not go into details as it will only bore u (it has many engineering technical terms) and u'll probably not understand it as i dont really understand it myself so i kinda find it hard explaining.. basically, in layman's terms, i went there with some of my dad's company staff n help them repair some machines.. although i didnt help much as they all expected me to only tag along not knowing anything, but at least they didnt treat me like some servant bringing them drinks. mayb cos i'm the boss' son.. *laughs pridely* muahahaha..

tks to adrian n alvin for taking over the teaching yesterday 4 me, s i know i told u guys only quite last minute. thks also to heng san for taking my place, playing the guitar which i'm sure u did a great job..

so.. now i'm back in kl.. hope to spend a little more time enjoying myself b4 i head off to study ~~kangaroos~~ i mean, in australia.

But since it's once a year and it's her i'm celebrating it with.. it's alright i guess.
we plan to do it tmrw so don't call me tmrw night unless it's an emergency *coughs* like if you got pregnant from tonight or u're too drunk to go home cos your gf dumped u (although i have to admit she's smart enough to dump u after vday).

I was just thinking this few days how we live our lives. we hurt those we love and it hurts us even more when we see the ones we love hurt.. by us. they cry and all u wanna do is just hold them in your arms bt then ego stand in the way. days go by and we feel so guilty inside afraid that they might never forgive us....

Im very down these few days and i wished i could turn back time..

Sorry for being away so long. I was in Taiwan visiting my mom's relatives. Just as usual Taiwanese girls' sense of fashion has becomed from bad to worse. it's wierd how they can dress like this.

When i was there, my cousin told me a story of how a girl got cheated by her bf and i was partly surprised how dumb the girl was and how d bf take advantage of it.

The girl was one of the top student in school and she fell in love with this guy whom she met at some friend's b'day party. They coupled and all that. he told her all kinds of things to make her convinced he loved her. then she gave herself to him la. one day, during one of their dates, he drugged her n passed her to his frens to kaotim as well. she found out about it, somehow, but she didnt report or do anything. still continued the relationship. apparently for the namesake of love. in this case it's one-sided love.

then one day, he told her his mother had some illness but cannot find money to pay for d medical bills so borrow money from some ahlong. he called his gang all stage a scene pretending to beat him up for not paying d debts. she then go dig up ALL her savings, took her parents' money (ATM card) n give to d guy n ran away from home with him.

they rented some small flat where they lived together (not happily ever after). one day he said he had to go to hong kong to do business. she was working at that time so she had some money and as expected she gave her money to him again. she trusted him too much.

after that, she never heard of him again.

so girls, don't so easily trust a guy (even though i'm a guy and alot of girls these days cannot be trusted as well). especially if the guy has no respect for you (drug u and use u and give u to their frens). cos true gentlemen (like me) treat girls with respect. lik they say girls are meant to be loved not harmed.

i told her this story. Her emotions were hard to read but she said that sometimes girls are willing to do anything for the person they love. i'm also willing to do anything for her but if goes too far, it's not fair for me anymore. I am fortunate i have someone who genuinely cares and loves me for who i am and for everything, the good and the bad the way i do her. and i'm glad i'm with her and not anyone else..

A young man.. Only 35 years.. Fit as can be.. A footballer.. Captain of Motherwell, Phil O' Donnell collasped in the field and was pronounced dead due to heart failure..

Post mortem concludes that he had suffered left ventricular failure of the heart. However, he was not the first footballer to collasped on a field and die. Last August, Antonio Puerta, the Sevilla midfielder, collapsed 35 minutes into a match and died three days later from cardiac arrest. Marc-Vivien Foe, the ex-West Ham United and Manchester City midfielder, 28, died of a heart attack while playing for Cameroon in the Confederations Cup in June 2003. The cause of his death was identified as an enlarged right heart ventricle. However, his death brought about a lot of shock, sadness and sorrow for his family, fans and footballers and even for people who has never heard of him. Motherwell fans have been laying scarves, strips and pictures at the gates of Fir Park.

I really don't know what people usually write in blogs but since it's my blog, I shall do it my way. As far as I know, blogs are like diaries but the problem is I'm not the type who keeps a diary so bear with me if the posts are kinda wierd. I can be quite 'duh' in things like this. Anyway, I will try my best (not my ultimate best but best enough) to make this blog 'seem' interesting (very hard work indeed).
